e-Boks expands co-operation with Visma Group

e-Boks is expanding its co-operation with Visma Group by entering into a major new agreement with Visma Creditro. The agreement covers the secure handling of more than a quarter of a million documents annually.

Visma Creditro 

Creditro was founded in 2017, and the first version of the platform went live in June 2018. Today, Visma Creditro has +1200 companies as customers and more than 6700 active users on the solution. To date, more than 4 million KYC checks have been performed on the Visma Creditro solution. 

Currently, lawyers, accountants, and auditors face challenges in meeting the ever-changing and increasing requirements of anti-money laundering legislation. KYC processes, which involve conducting a documented customer knowledge check, are particularly resource intensive. One of the main challenges is gathering necessary documentation from clients, many of whom hesitate to click links in emails leading to the documentation collection platform. Due to the surge in scam emails in recent years, users are increasingly cautious about following links from unknown sources. 

- There is a societal scepticism about messages we receive via email and SMS asking for sensitive personal data, which is a good thing. However, the consequence is that our customers' clients don't react when we, or our customers, ask them to provide personal information via a link. They simply think it's spam,’ explains Asmita Velji Tejani, Interim Managing Director at Visma Creditro, which specialises in solutions for KYC procedures. 


Fear of spam has no existence in e-Boks 


This client uncertainty has resulted in disproportionate amounts of time spent following up to reassure clients that the request is legitimate. Visma Creditro has now partnered with e-Boks to address this issue. Experience shows that users have a high level of trust in messages delivered via e-Boks. By transitioning customer communications to e-Boks, lawyers and accountants can direct clients to Visma Creditro's platform confidently, where KYC data can be collected securely and systematically. 

- By running all messages through e-Boks, which we know is a strong and trusted solution among Danes, we will address the fear of spam and provide a solution with better flow and less friction. Ultimately, our wish is that we can help our customers complete the KYC procedures efficiently and without any contact points other than those running through our platform,’ says Asmita Velji Tejani.

High credibility and efficient delivery 

 

Research from Voxmeter shows that approximately 80% of Danes regard e-Boks as the most secure communication channel, while only 3% view email as safe. The research also reveals that up to 33% of Danes have deleted important, legitimate emails, mistaking them for spam or phishing. 

Head of Business Development Morten Pryds from e-Boks says:   

- In general, all data indicates that there is very little trust in traditional email as a secure channel and messages with links that land in the inbox are very often considered spam. When the email also contains an invitation to enter sensitive personal data, very few people will respond to the email. So, our task with e-Boks is to create a safe and efficient customer journey that supports senders who have a legitimate reason to ask users for personal data. 

To emphasise the close collaboration between e-Boks and several of Visma's various business units, a two-year extension of an existing agreement with Visma Proløn, Dataløn and Enterprise has just been signed. It is an agreement that includes five million payslips annually.
