In 2024, we fortified our presence in the banking sector while also recording substantial growth in insurance and pensions. We successfully renewed major contracts and reacquired former clients, further consolidating our market position. Our expansion into new sectors was highly successful, driven by strong performance in utilities, collection services, parking, and NGOs. As a result, over 300 new senders joined the platform, underscoring the escalating need for secure digital communication.

In 2024, we strengthened our position in the banking sector while achieving notable growth in industries such as insurance and pensions, including a +40% increase in pension services. We successfully renewed key contracts and regained former customers, reinforcing our market presence.
Our expansion into new industries proved highly successful, marked by a +50% increase in utilities, and strong growth across collection services, parking, and NGOs. This growth reflects rising security demands in sectors like utilities and NGOs, where secure communication solutions are becoming essential. For NGOs in particular, increasing costs of physical mail have made secure digital alternatives more critical than ever.
The launch of new products and features has further strengthened user engagement and adoption of the e-Boks platform. One example is form-based signing, which allows users to fill out and sign structured forms directly within e-Boks. This innovation streamlines workflows for both individuals and organizations by reducing manual processes and saving time. Another key initiative is the mandatory “register all” feature, which ensures that all relevant communication is sent via e-Boks. This creates a more complete and consistent digital communication flow and helps reduce reliance on physical mail. Additionally, new addressing mechanisms have contributed to a 48% rise in documents sent via e-Boks without requiring a social security number (SSN).
This growth has also attracted over 300 new senders to the platform last year, underscoring the increasing demand for secure digital communication. These developments, along with a continued loyal user base and rising user satisfaction, highlight our commitment to continuously enhancing secure and efficient solutions for our customers, partners, and users.
Joining the Universal Postal Union’s Consultative Committee (UPU CC) has given us the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with postal operators and stakeholders from around the world. Through this forum, we’ve connected with peers across the sector to exchange knowledge and perspectives on the future of postal services. With strong capabilities in digital communication and document management, we aim to contribute to the development of postal services that are both inclusive and future-oriented - bridging the gap between traditional and digital delivery in a rapidly changing landscape.

As stated in our annual report, e-Boks reported a revenue of DKK 201 million. The increase was in line with expectations and driven by a 40% rise in pension services and a 50% growth in utilities—clear indicators of our strategic expansion bearing fruit. Where developments in the Nordics have met expectations, the international activities have not yet materialized in significant revenue streams. However, the many positive dialogues have built a promising pipeline , which is likely to benefit the business going forward.
We are humbled by the trust that citizens, customers, and partners continue to place in us by choosing e-Boks as their preferred secure digital post solution. This trust is never taken for granted - it is something we strive to earn every single day. That is why I’m particularly proud to see this reflected in our user engagement: In 2024, the number of unique private users grew by 5%, logins to the platform increased by 10%, and user satisfaction improved reaching a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 33.
